At the Foundation's beginning, a printed piece explained why they chose to focus on bringing equality and providing financial support for girls' educational opportunities in developing countries around the world. The managing director and the Creative Director within Nike had collected all of these beautiful objects from their travels to Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Burma and Indonesia, and we created a set to showcase all of the beautifully handcrafted, customized belongings, and wrote quotes from interviews with the girls on the wall. This one photo provided both background and detail for the whole brochure, which was both a small booklet and a fold-out poster held together in a handcrafted folder with a blind emboss of the Nike Foundation logotype.
